Hogmanay Syllabub – A True Scottish Dessert

Here we have a customary Scottish dessert often dished taking place on 31st December, or Hogmanay, as we Scots following to call it. Ingredients:

25g medium oatmeal
4 tablespoons Whiskey
4 tablespoons lemon juice
1 egg white
300ml spacious whipping cream
2-3 tablespoons fresh milk

Method

40g butter
50g golden syrup
