My name is Diogo , I am a cardiologist in Brasília-DF . I am married and the father of 4 beautiful children. I was born in 1981 and raised in Sobradinho, a satellite city of Brasília. I studied in a public school and I always received encouragement from my parents, who are teachers, to try to pursue my dreams.
I got a scholarship during high school to study at a private school in Brasilia. With great cost and difficulties, I passed the entrance exam for medicine at UnB , one of the most competitive in Brazil, where I graduated as a doctor in 2005.
In 2008, when I was doing my Internal Medicine residency , I was diagnosed with cancer. At the time my wife was pregnant with our first child. After the surgery to remove the tumor, by the grace of God, we discovered that the disease was, in fact, benign.
I want to help you take care of your heart health! I’ve been through the difficulty of being on the other side, that is, of being an afflicted patient and I know how much being received by an empathetic doctor helps in the treatment process .
